About Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP)

A pre-measured liner is delivered in a refrigerated truck and inserted into the existing pipeline through manhole openings.  After the liner has been inserted, it is filled with water that is heated to a certain temperature, and cured for several hours to harden the liner inside the pipe. When fully cured, the liner now acts as the new pipeline. Once the CIPP operation begins, it cannot be stopped until completed, thus requiring the 24/7 continuous work. Crews will be onsite for monitoring throughout the entire process.
