The Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) has been recognized by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) with not one, but two, awards as part of the 2024 American Graphic Design Awards.
The 2024 Graphic Design Awards are GDUSA’s annual end-of-year best-of-year competition, encompassing over two dozen submission categories. OC San received awards for its Open House Count Down social media posts and 70th Anniversary Campaign, in the Social Media and Integrated Marketing Campaigns categories, respectively.
The Open House Count Down featured 16 social media posts on multiple platforms, featuring historical images to promote OC San’s 70th Anniversary Open House. The 70th Anniversary Campaign ran throughout 2024, incorporating a specially designed logo, seasonally themed website graphics, social media content, report covers, and even street flags displayed around OC San’s Reclamation Plant No. 1 and Headquarters.
Over 8,000 entries were received for this year’s 2024 GDUSA Design Awards. With only 10 percent of entries chosen as winners, this award is a testament to OC San’s creative capabilities and talent.
