OC San was recently featured in Municipal Water and Sewer Magazine for our innovative approach to reducing inflow and infiltration impacts on the sewer systems we maintain. In the article, you’ll discover how OC San engineer Dickie Fernandez developed a cost-effective solution that saved $3 million and valuable time. Instead of completely replacing or grouting all sewer lines, we switched to injecting leaking joints with chemical grout, extending the life of our pipes by 50 years. This strategic method helps maintain the efficiency of our sewer lines, some of which are reaching the end of their lifespan.
With over 479 square miles of service area in central and northwestern Orange County, there’s a lot to discover about OC San’s award-winning system. If you’re interested in learning more about our efforts, click here to read the full Municipal Water and Sewer Magazine article.
